Michelle Obama is EVERYTHING. PERIOD!
Michelle Obama Pens memoir, BECOMING announcing it via Twitter, on Sunday, February 18th. Mrs. Obama tweeted, “Writing ‘BECOMING’ has been a deeply personal experiece. I hope my journey inspires readers to find the courage to become whoever they aspire to be. Slated to hit stands worldwide on November 13th, the book will be published in 24 languages including an audio edition, read in Mrs. Obama’s voice.
The former first lady has always encouraged so many through her philanthropic works and initiatives. Penguin Random House says it will donate one million books in the Obamas’ name to First Book, a nonprofit that transforms the lives of children in need.
Mrs. Obama showed us the true definition of style and grace while her family was in the White House. I am so grateful that my own daughter’s had a chance to see a woman who looked like them, in such a powerful postion. I can’t wait to read what this “South Side” beauty’s journey was, and how she became one of the most loved women in the world.
